GMB National Office
The General Secretary of GMB is
Paul Kenny.
The positions of General Secretary is elected every five
years by a secret ballot of GMB members. The General
Secretary has responsibility for the Union's industrial and
policy work, as well as being the senior executive manager
of GMB.
Also based at National Office are the National Secretaries and
National Officers for each of the three Industrial Sections,
Commercial Service, Manufacturing and Public
Services. There are also specialists who are on
hand to provide expert advice on your rights at work, industry
specific issues, pensions, health and safety,
equality, international solidarity and employment
law.
The GMB National Press Office distributes the latest GMB
news to the national, regional and international
media.
