GMB Devon Apprentices Meet Ed Miliband At The TUC Conference In Bournemouth
The three GMB young members will have the opportunity to tell Ed exactly what he and the Labour Party under his leadership will have to do to get their votes says GMB.
Three GMB members Struan Robertson 21, from South Brent Torquay, James Underwood 24, from Plymouth and Ryan Acres 21 from Holdsworthy
who are apprentices at Babcock Devonport will be on the stage with Labour Leader Ed Miliband today (Tuesday 10th August 2013) as he addresses the TUC conference in Bournemouth.
John Phillips, GMB Wales & South West Secretary said, “Ed Miliband is visiting the TUC delegates to tell them what the Labour Party intends to do to win back it’s 5 million lost voters.
The three GMB young members Struan Robertson, James Underwood and Ryan Acres will have the opportunity to tell Ed exactly what he and the Labour Party under his leadership will have to do to get their votes.
Their experience of being apprentices in the dockyard is something that Ed will find very useful if he find time to listen to them.”
