GMB has demanded Asos workers are not made to suffer after the company’s share price plunged again.

Asos shares dropped by a quarter yesterday following the retailer’s third profit warning in just eight months

Neil Derrick, GMB Regional Secretary, said:

"Asos' share price is taking hit after hit after hit, but GMB members who keep the business alive must not be made to suffer the consequences.

"They’re already working their fingers to the bone in awful conditions - they don’t need to be worrying about their futures as well.

"Asos needs to learn pursuing profit at all costs is not only bad for workers - it’s bad for business too."
