Amazon workers renew their mandate for strike action a further 6 months, and announce 3 new strike days beginning on Amazon's "Prime Day".

Amazon respond by going on a massive recruitment drive, taking the number of employees at the Coventry site from 1,400 to 2,700.

GMB withdraws from the recognition process, vowing to continue the campaign for union recognition and a pay rise for Amazon workers.

GMB applies to ACAS for statutory recognition at Amazon Coventry, believing that more than 50% of the workforce are now members of GMB.

Between January and April, GMB members at the Amazon site in Coventry take 19 days of strike action, inspiring huge numbers of Amazon workers to join the union.

Workers were offered compensation of around £20,000.
