Price hikes just show how we have lost control of our energy system
GMB, the energy union, has responded to the predicted rise in the energy price cap this week.

Has warned millions will see their bills rise again when energy regulator Ofgem announces it’s new price cap next week.
Andy Prendergast, GMB National Secretary, said:
"These price hikes just show how we have lost control of our energy system.
"At the exact moment when consumers are being told that inflation is falling, they get the news that bills are going up again.
"Rather than get a handle on the energy situation, we continue to see a failure to meaningfully invest and provide a plan that will give us energy security and bring down bills."
