GMB Union has responded the Chancellor's budget.
Gary Smith, GMB General Secretary, said:
“The Chancellor has pledged to use the UK’s proud defence sector to help reindustrialise the nation, while giving breathing space to families struggling with the cost of living.
“From Rosyth to Appledore, Belfast to Barrow, Aldershot to Plymouth: GMB members are working keep our country safe in this increasingly turbulent world and must be supported.
“This Government has already shown its willingness to buy British. Now it must build on that commitment and ensure our workers and their communities benefit.”
