GMB Union has responded to the appointment of Matthew Taylor as chair of the Fair Work agency, announced today [Tuesday].
Rhianna Patel, GMB Political Officer, said:
“Matthew Taylor has a huge challenge ahead, but we look forward to working with him.
“But he must be given the funding and enforcement powers he needs.
“The Fair Work Agency must have teeth or it will become a futile talking shop.”
