GMB Union has warned the predicted energy price cap rise shows the folly of relying on overseas energy.
Charlotte Brumpton-Childs, GMB National Secretary, said:
“Even with the Labour Government reducing average bills - the predicted price rises will hit people hard.
“It’s a stark reminder relying on non-domestic energy sources is sheer folly and leaves the UK brutally exposed to the whims of the market.”
