A Parliamentary debate on the water industry today [Monday] must conclude the time is right for nationalisation, GMB Union has said.
Gary Carter, GMB National Officer, said:
“Private ownership of England’s water companies has been a disaster and it’s time for the Government to take decisive action and bring the water back into public ownership.
“Only public ownership can clean up the mess and stop bill payers money going in huge dividends and big bonuses.”
