GMB Union, representing workers across the UK’s petrochemical industry, has today responded to the news that administrators have been called into the Prax Lindsey Oil refinery on the North East Lincolnshire coast.
Andy Groves, GMB Regional Organiser, said:
“Lindsey oil refinery is vital UK infrastructure.
“The Government must now take urgent steps to safeguard operations and fuel supplies.
“The plant sustains thousands of jobs locally and our union is
focused on supporting our members at this difficult time”.
