GMB Union has responded to the pay offer of 3.3 per cent for more than one million council employees and school support staff.
Stacey Booth, GMB National Officer, said
“GMB acknowledges today’s pay offer of 3.3 per cent.
"We had called for pay negotiations this year, so to be given a full and final offer is disappointing.
“However, we will now meet with national committee members to discuss next steps.”
